6th - Month Old

This is the first blog. Zeezee is the daughter. Jixy is the mother. Labour took place without pain relief.

Today's weather is fine. The air smells like Johnson & Johnson's bath lotion as Zee snuggles in Jixy's lap. Zee grew up fast and yesterday was her 6th-month birthday. Zee, happy birthday to you. You have survived the first 6 months without major hiccups. Jixy proclaims her that she thinks she had put effort to ensure everything is well - taken care of for you. One huge difference that many visitors notice about you is that you hardly cry. Jixy thinks it is to her credit. You are so well - taken care of and Jixy takes all pre-emptive measures to make sure you don't even need to whimper to get what you want / desire.

Zee threw tantrum in SzeChuan Court last night. Hippo thinks the restaurant was too noisy. Zee eventually fell asleep but Jixy apologised to sil and bil for zee's disturbances. SIL and BIL are bunking in at Raffles Hotel tonight. How nice to get away from home once in a while and snuggle in a comfy room with air conditioning at full blast while having comfort food all over the bed spread. Not possible at home because owner will be too preoccupied with the danger of food spills to indulge.
